Our Youth Ambassadors

Do you know a young athlete in East Lothian who is a rising star?! Let us help them go for gold!
We at Whitekirk Hill are sponsoring four young athletes in 2021, helping them to strive for excellence in their chosen field. Our youth ambassadors will receive an annual membership to our brand new fitness centre, full of the latest equipment to keep them at peak performance throughout the year. Membership will also be included for their own personal trainer. All applicants must be competitive at a national level. Personal training can be provided.
We are delighted to announce we have already selected our first ambassador, and inspiration for the programme, local school girl and professional youth Motocross rider Cristina Palmer.
Cristina has been riding since she was 2 and started racing at the tender age of 5. At 13 she has the focus and professionalism of a champion. She has experienced a lot in her young life, from victories to heartbreak and injury. Cristina’s inspirational story is one of challenges met and overcome in her demanding and male dominated sport. Cristina took the top podium spot as British Girls MX Champ and Scottish Cross Country Champ respectively in 2018. I’m sure you will agree she is one 13 year old that is going places. We at Whitekirk Hill are so excited to be part of her journey.
